2006 Honda Civic Reinstalling Axle
Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2006 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 30000 miles
I was replacing the front brakes on the driver side of my civic. I removed the axle nut because I thought I needed to in order to remove the brake rotor. I used a puller and ended up pushing the axle out of the hub. Is there a way to get the axle back into the hub?

It will be an easier job if you remove the ball joint from the steering knuckle. Re-insert the outboard shaft back into the wheel hub

Attach the ball joint back in, and tighten the nut and insert the cotter pin. Tighten the axle nut to 134 ft/lbs.
