The latches of front and back doors are out of alignment.
How do I realign them so that the doors can close.
I tried rotating the latches back to the original positions with a screwdriver.

Hi HazratMoosa,

The latches are fixed by 3 screws to hold them in place and is not adjustable. What you need to adjust is the door striker bolted onto the frame.

If they can be twisted with a screwdriver, it means the holding screws are not correctly torqued.

Loosen the holding bolts just enough to allow the striker to be moved and hold door as close to striker as possible.
Ensure the striker is in line the the slot of the latch on the door.
Adjust striker if necessary and tighten the holding bolts.
Close door and note if it is flush with body. If it is too far out, loosen the striker holding screws and tap the striker inwards, do not allow the striker to move upwards or downwards.
Retest closing and repeat adjustment till the door is correctly aligned.

I called my local Honda dealer. With his advice I pulled the door handle and then with a flat screw driver, rotated the door latch counterclockwise.

Eureka! The latch came back to its original position and I could shut the door easily.

Glad to know you have fixed the problem.

Seems we are not on the same wave length and I am confused with door latches being adjusted with a flat screwdriver.
