Car overheated so we added coolant and took to mechanic. The car is visibly leaking coolant.
The mechanic pressure tested the radiator and it held pressure. However, when driven the mechanic can see that coolant has leaked (perhaps near the cap). The radiator cap was replaced, the reservior tank cleaned out. The mechanic tested the radiator for hydrocarbons (none found), pulled the spark plugs (no sign of coolant), scoped the engine for any sign of a blown gasket (found none). He suggest I take it to the Honda dealership.
Do you have any suggestions how to find out what is causing the leak?

Is it still overheating? If this happened in slow city driving, look at the electric radiator fan. Failure to turn on will result in overheating without any other underlying cause. If this happened on the highway, don't blame the fan as it isn't needed due to high airflow.

The dealer will have a hand-held computer they can plug in to turn the fan on and off to test the circuitry. Your mechanic might also have an aftermarket version of that computer, called a scanner, but they usually don't perform as many functions as the dealer's equipment.
