I drove through a lot of rain and after about 25 miles, the dashboard lights started flashing off and on. I got another 5 miles to home with the same problem and sat in my driveway with the car running and it seemed fine. The lights stayed steady on. A few hours later, I went to start the car and got just a clicking sound. It wouldn't start. The next day, the same thing. Just clicking and when the key is turned to accessory, the dashboard lights flash.

Water has got into the electrical connectors and is causing an intermittent open circuit.

Try leaving car inside garage 24 hours to help dry it out.

If problem persists, remove connectors and use an electronics cleaner to remove water.

Start with connectors lowest to ground.
