At 45mph the engine stopped, starts but dies immediately. Wonder if it is the exchangeable element from ignition switch, gas pressure or electrical malady. Recently put a new clutch, could it be that the mechanic left something loose after all?
any ideas?

When it dies, does it not start for a period of time? Or does it fire up everytime?

Hi, thanks for your question. It does start for 1 or 2 seconds but it dies as many times I ignite it. I checked the fuel pump, it seems to work ok and tomorrow I'll do a fuel pressure test. But still I need to know how to check the ignition switch because other 2 people close to me had the same problem and changed the electric element of the switch.
