My honda is making a sound only when it is moving, like there is a seal bad, but I do not know how to find it. What would be the first place to check to see, and what additional problems could it be?

Are you talking about a windshield seal/moulding?

It's something under the hood. I just don't have any idea where to look. It isn't extremely loud, but it continues to persist. It does not happen at idle, just when the car is moving.

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

Check that the air box (air filter housing) is clipped closed, check that the air induction hose is not loose, this induction air noise can be very loud.

The air filter housing and the air induction hoses appeared to be tight to me when I checked them. The noise sounds more like friction from possibly metal rubbing together. Could this be from my front brakes possibly being warped?

Is this noise constant with road speed or engine speed?

no, it doesn't really have to do with the speed of the engine or the rpm of the engine. it will happen at 2 to 3 miles and hour and is periodic, but it also persists at higher speeds as well.

also, what is a typical amount to donate? I feel like I should donate more because I have received multiple amounts.

Thanks for your help.

Check for front brake wear tabs touching the rotor.
