My car was opened with a "jimmy" and it nocked out the ability to open the door from the inside. It opens from the outside but not from within. How hard is it too open the panel, and try to fix it yourself? And if I can't fix it myself do I need to take it to a Honda Dealer auto repair, or can any garage do the job?

Thank you.

Hi ronaldixon,

To remove the door panel is not difficult.

First you need to remove the cover on handle to look for hidden screws. Remove the screws and any others attaching the inner door opener.

Pry the panel off by pulling at the edges, it is held on by plastic clips.

Any repair shop should be able to do the job.
