My 2002 civic decelerates on it's own. It will run fine for 30 to 40 minutes and then begin to decelerate on it's own. From 50 to 40 to 30 to 20, etc... until you pull over. Once you pull over, and turn it off, and let it set for 5 or ten minutes it will start back up and run normally for some period of time before the problem repeats. No dash warning lights. Any ideas?

So if you step on the throttle nothing happens? Or the car decelerates too quickly? If so, check for dragging brakes and make sure the rear brakes are adjusted properly.

If you step on the throttle, nothing happens. Decelerates on it's own while my foot is pressing down on the throttle.

Does the engine RPM revv up when you depress the throttle? If this happens and the speed does not increase you sounds like you may have a slipping transmission.

You may want to have your onboard computers scanned to see if there are any codes stored.
