2001 Honda Civic Dash Lites

I have a 2001 Honda Civic ES. It has 51995 miles. The pointers for the speedometer and gas gauge are out. Also the light around the gas gauge is out. I think they are bulbs but I'm not quite sure how to remove the dashboard cluster? Also is there a good repair manual out ? If so what is it's title.

Pickup a Haynes manual. They are titled by the car you are needing it for. Good investment. Some big libraries have repair manuals on the shelf. Car auto parts stores either have them in stock or can get them overnight. Cost is around $20.

No easy way to just slip the cluster out. The dash needs to come apart. Not all that bad once you have done it.
