Transmission problem
2001 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i overhauled the transmission yet the 3rd gear still sliding.i even replaced all the things inside including the valve body.what is the possible problems.and how to solve it?

Hi Ateodoro,

You mean it is slipping in 3rd speed?
Does it happen only at initial engagement of up shifting or while driving?

Flare On 2-3 Upshift
Possible cause: defective 3rd clutch, defective A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve "A", stuck CPC valve, defective 2nd accumulator, or stuck 2nd orifice control valve.
