2000 Honda Civic Wont start warm

I have a 2000 Honda Civic EX 2dr, I just started having a problem where my car will not start if i drive it for about 30 minutes or more then turn it off and try to turn it back on in within 15-20 min. It has the cooling fan hardwired to the ignition so when i turn it to the start position the fan comes on. If I let it sit with the fan on for about 5 mins it will start. If I press the gas when it first starts it will sputter out. If I let it idle for a few seconds it runs fine.
