My car has almost 160k miles on it I was wondering what are some things that need to be done to it. Such as cap and wires and plugs things like. Also the guy at Midas said something about checking the ohms of the wires to see if they need to be replaced, is he just trying to make money off me or is there actually a way to do that with a DMM?

-Thank you

Hi there, You can check the resistance through the ignition leads with a multi meter, this is a simple way of checking for a faulty lead. With the tune do all the filters, plugs, and check the comps, also a scan will be good to check for any unresolved fault codes.

If the leads are more than 5 years old, change them.
