How do you fix a broken head gasket and what other parts in the car are affected by it over heating like this?

Hello

For a blown head gasket the head must be removed. While off with the number of miles you have you need to do a valve job. The head will have to be resurfaced anyway (due to the heat) so the valve job is necessary.

The cooling system should be flushed and I would change the thermostat.

You will need to change the oil and filter.

If you want the information on head removal, I will need to know the specifics on your vehicle such as is it a CX, DX, EX or what model, coupe, sedan etc and the specific engine liter size and 8th digit of your vin.
