How do i turn check engine light off after the repair.

Hi jmay75,

You don't need to turn it off, if no fault is detected, it would not come on.

If it keeps coming back, sme problem has not been solved.

To erase the codes, remove the backup/radio fuse under hood for a few seconds would do. Another way is to disconnect the battery negative terminal for a few seconds. The last way of doing it is to remove the ECM connectors for a few seconds.

NOTE : REMEMBER to keep ignition switch off or remove key when resetting.
