Hi, since yesterday my honda civic AC tends to stop at idle, the belt faces problem and is not able to engage the AC clutch. When I tend to step on gas, it increases RPM and inturn the belts and engage the AC, after this the AC runs fine but again at idle the same problem arises .

Please let me know what seems to be the problem in this case and the solutions to it.

I would be grateful.

Thanks

Hi gurpreetsinghsaini,

The AC clutch would disengage if the idling speed is too low and the problem you are facing seems to be with the idling speed.

Get the throttle body and Intake Air Control valve cleaned and the idling speed should increase solving the problem.
