1999 Honda Civic 4 cyl Automatic

I dont know exactly what its called but the camshaft gear, the circular part, I was wondering if I could take that off a 99 civic and put it on a 01 civic, would that be compatible?

No, the parts are not compatible. 01 model camshaft sprocket is different from the 99 model.

99 is 1.6 L whereas 01 is 1.7 L. The O1 model has TDC sensor camlobes on the sprocket while the 99 model has none.
