1998 Honda Civic with my air on my engine surges up and dow

Just recently I had the blow motor replaced for my air. Today I noticed that when my air is on the idle goes down when conpressor kicks on and when it shuts off the engine kicks up. While driving you can feel the surging.

Possible causes for the problem are :

1. Idling speed too low. Get the IAC and throttle body cleand and idle speed adjusted and retest.

2. Excessive freon in system. If greon had been topped up, you could have ovecharged the system.

3. Erratic idling speed. Could be due to out of specs vlave clearances. Check/adjust valve clearances.
