HELP! I've tried everything. Car has been bucking and hesitating upon acceleration for months - but running good at higher speeds. Check engine light came on last week. 4 months ago had tune up: fuel filter, NKG spark blugs, igntion coil, distributor and rotor. Wires Bosch were fairly new and looked ok. When light came on took it to Autozone - PO032 engine misfire. Replaced all four injectors and one spark plug in the misfiring cylinder. Added octane booster as well. (see,s to make it worse - should I siphon out?)
Car runs as bad as ever - no power - check engine flashing, still reading PO032 and also P1399. Do I need to take it to dealer? Is it valves, converter, O2 sensor. (Also does seem to use oil faster than normal, but don't see a leak. ) No funny smells ever.
I am at a loss and could really use some advice. Thanks
Kim
