1998 Honda Civic Leaky Radiator

Just bought this car (98 Civic LX) used.150 K. Temperature gauge was always normal and then once it rose to about 3/4 up. I immediately took the car to autozone to buy coolant and then to the repair shop. Mechanic said the radiator was shot. Maple syrup smell from the grill but not from the exhaust? Is the radiator my only problem here? Let me know

Hi Tek_Knowledge,

After using the car for a few days if nothing crops up, then you have nothing to worry about. Remember to check the coolants regularly for the next few days.
