Car does not want to start
Engine Performance problem
1998 Honda Civic 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 127000 miles
Mi car does not start, when I turn the keys for a while it start smelling gas. The car will not start. I have to unplug two of the injector switch so the car can start, once it is accelarate I run to plug the two unplugged injectors.
I change the spark plugs, I checked the electrical, and it is fine. Once the car turn on, the car has no issue at all driving it. The only thing I noticed is that the car idle RPM is to high, I would say 2000 rpm. I also have change the Map sensor and the Check Engine it is still on. Still giving me issues.

Hi edwin27,
Symptoms indicates either the sparks are weak or excessive fuel is getting to the cylinders. I would suggest testing the fuel pressure and checking the injectors for sticking.
Is the Check Engine Light indicating?
