car was in a collision affecting the front drivers side of the car (left) fixed all that and still had the problem of a jumpy speedometer with the combination of pulsating lights occuring only after the first time you touch the gas pedal after starting the car but once the car had been run for long enough say about 5 mins or so the speedometer and lights functioned fine well we had replaced the speed sensor and the speedometer cluster the problem still persisted so we had the alternator and a blown fuse replaced which was found to have been corroded and the housing was crack well after the alt replacment the problem was fixed for about a day or so and yesterday it started the problem all over again and now instead of it not jumping after it is warmed up for so long it goes from jumping to working and back and fourth like its trying to read the right speed but cant now i had read before that there are wire under the car that sometimes get bear and cause shorts well at the time i checked them and it didnt seem as if there were any bear spots and they had some old eletrical tape on them as if this may have happened before so this had been driving me crazy for months now and i and my car would love and really appriciate an ending to this torment
