1996 Honda Civic Low Idle and Engine Light
Engine Mechanical problem
1996 Honda Civic 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 134000 miles
About 2 weeks ago the engine light turned on on my Honda Civic and immediately I noticed a very low idle and decreased gas mileage. I've been driving it in spite of this due to a lack of time and funds. Now, my car loses its charge and must be jump started unless I disconnect the battery. I'm not sure if the battery problem has anything to do with the idle problem. How can I fix this without breaking the bank??

Hello,
First thing - take it by your local auto zone or simlar and have them pull codes. Post them here.
While there also have them check the battery and charging system.
Post findings here.
