My engine sounds like it will cut off when sitting still. I had a new clutch put in 10,000 miles ago, but the mechanic failed to resurface the flywheel. I had a new muffler installed and I got a new timing belt. It also feels like it hesistates when I'm driving in my gears. I had it diagnosed and the gentlemen said that I need another computer in order for them to determine what was wrong. Also, I replaced the map sensor, but that did not solve the problem either. I am out of ideas. Do you have any suggestions on what is wrong and what I should do?

I don't know what tests were performed by your mechanic, but it's possible you need a new computer.
The way to check for a bad computer is to check reference voltages at your sensors. If one/more of your sensors isn't recieving the correct voltage, and it isn't a fault in the wiring harness/connector, then the computer is bad. Also, if the injectors aren't recieving a pulse, or the pulse isn't within spec (no wiring/connector problems), then your computer is bad. Same thing for the other outputs. But you need to measure these circuits and have the specs to compare them to.
