Engine Cooling problem
1995 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

My Honda Civic Ex is running hot, I'm not getting Antifreeze in my oil pan, and I'm not loosing pressure, my engine is runing good except, the indicator gauge in my Honda go's up to an 1/8 from running hot, but after 15 minutes of driving, it go back down to halfway on the indicator gauge, but don't go in the red zone. At this time, I replaced the Engine Coolant Temperation (ECT) sensor, and checked cooling fan motor relay fuse, I don't see any Antifreeze leaks. Also, I replaced all the hoses and new heater core, radiator. What do you think is wrong with my Honda Civic Ex?

So have you replaced the thermostat and gasket? If not then that is what I would do. Let me know how it goes.

You didn't mention that the thermostat was replaced. Anyway did you check the to see if it is really running hot? Have you taken it to a shop with an infered thermometer to see if it is running hot? It may be that the temp sender for the guage is not working right which is different from the temp sensor. The sensor is usually 2 or 3 wire the temp sender is usually 1 wire. So I would have it checked with an infered theremometer first to see if it is running hot and is it using anti freeze?
