1994 Honda Civic wont start

I have a 1994 Honda civic DX, the car won't start. I was driving it , the car shut off and wouldn't restart. I had the car towed to my house, it wouldnt fire. I replaced the distributor, and now it fires. fuel pump is working, has compression, but wont start, any suggestions would be appreciated.
