As I was in the road, speed reading stayed at zero, mileage gauge reading aswell not moving and the check engine warning light eluminated. I stopped and restarted and run the car, the speed is stil at zero and mileage not moving. I noticed that the check engine warning lights starts eluminating when slowing down or going to a stop. It stays eluminated unless I restart the engine.

Remove fuse #24 from under dash fuse box. Disconnect 3-pin connector from speed sensor, located on right side of engine.

Use ohmmeter to check continuity between black wire and ground. If no continuity, check ground and black wire for open circuit. If there is continuity, turn key on. Check voltage between yellow/blue wire and ground. If no voltage, check yellow/blue wire for open circuit.

Check voltage between yellow/white wire and ground. If voltage not about 5 volts, check yellow/white wire for open circuit.

If continuity and voltage check out, and speedometer/odometer not working, replace the speed sensor.
