My 93 civic speedometer cable does not work all the time...I have read some posts. they say to check the Speed Sensor. But these same posts say that if the Check Engine Light works, the Odometer works and then the issue is NOT the Sensor.
I cheked the CEL (it works), I disconnected the VSS and the Speedometer turned off. So I know I am doing this right.
Another problem I am having is that the Cruise Control does not stay on all the time. It turns off for some reason. I was wondering if these problems could be the speed sensor? Any idea's..
By the way, when I engauge the cruise, it feels like the engine tries to downshift. Could these problems all be related to the VSS?
