My speedometer isn't working properly. I can be driving down the highway, going 60 mph and the speedometer can instantly drop to 0 and stay that way, then it may kick back on to the correct speed. It goes in and out from working to not working and so on. What do you think the problem is?

Either the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) located ontop of the transmission. or the circuit for that sensor.

If this only happens on rainy days or when its damp out, it is most likely a wiring problem. If it's constant, usually its the sensor. I would recommend testing the wiring first before replacing the sensor.
