I recently noticed a pinhole leak in a coolant/water line/rubber hose that goes to the head/top part of the engine. i don't know what the hose is called but it's only adout 8" long with a 90 degree bend in it. i went to a few auto parts stores and no one has it. a few sales reps offered fuel injection line as a substitute. would that be okay to use considering the temperature of the water/coolant flowing through there?

Hi aortiz10,

I believe your are referring to the IAC coolant bypass hose.

I would strongly recommend using the appropriate coolant hoses. This hose should be easily available at auto parts stores that specialises in Honda parts.

As a temporary measure, fuel hoses can be used but they would soon harden and become brittle and tha jonts tends to leak due to the hardening.
