At >97% throttle, the engine will sharply cut out, and then hover around 1100 RPM. The sound is a rhythmic "Bwohhhm" (initial gunning) Then, "Brum... Bum... Bum..." At any other throttle, the engine seems to run fine. This car was not running when purchased. I had to change the timing belt, so I have no other history. I looked at one spark plug today (the one closest to the driver fender), and it looked good. Cleared an earlier Check Engine Light (EACV was unplugged!). ECU thinks all is well. Ideas?
