Engine Cooling problem
1991 Honda Civic Front Wheel Drive Automatic 142,00 miles

My daughters car is losing coolant but I cant tell where it is going. I dont see any wet spot on the car or driveway, none on dip stick, no white smoke, I cant figure out where it is going! Any ideas? Thanks, Jeff

Ck. pass. floor carpet for wetness up under glove box. Heater Core leak can be prob.. Core can also leak into defrost. air ducts. Double ck. all coolant conn. , it can be burn'n off motor or exaust also & will not leave puddle. {Can useually smell that}.

You should have a mechanic to pressure test the radiator, if the pressure test is good no signs of coolant leak, you may have a bad head gasket that coolant could leak into the combustion chambers. You could also do a compression test to see if there is any low compression in the cylinders. Normal compression should be about 170psi
