1991 Honda Civic automatic seat belt stuck

So on the driver side the seat belt is stuck forward its the kind that slide as you get in and out. Also my ciggertte lighter when pushed in lights up the open door light in dash. I am also having what I think is transmission problems. It jerks and stays in gear for longer then usual periods, and it seems like I have no power some times
thing is im a toyota tech but not an MDT and know nothing of hondas

Hi kevin311,

The seat belts have an inertia bearing which could be stuck. Put vehicle on level ground tug or jerk the belt to try and release it.

If it is due to a broken belt guide at the belt assy, you need to replace the set.

The cigar lighter is not related to the door indicator so if it affects it, there might be some wires or grounds near the radio that requires attention.

If the trans upshift is late with harsh shocks, check for trans throttle proper adjustment.

We need a better understanding of the lack of power problem before we can comment.
