No or low spark on cylenders 1 & 4 have metered and ohmed out the coil and ignighter as per manual and replaced the cap and plug wires and plugs and rotor.?

Hi mike jj,

Does not make sense as the distributor supplies to all the cylinders and you have replaced all those related parts.

You tested the spark voltages? Or is the engine running rich on these two cylinders?

If it is runnig rich, check the PCV plugged into the intake manifold at the centre. Vacumn is leaking resulting in 2nd and 3ird cyinders running lean.
