Honda front end noise

I have a 1992 honda accord, I have recently put in new bearings and cv joint for the passenger side, but I still hear a noise like a wore bearing (not exactly a grinding noise but more like a tension noise like something is being squeezed) I think it might be the trans axle but not sure. Could you please give me some input. Thanks, Billy Wilson

Just slightly confused on terminology. You replace a joint or the half axle? Are you suspecting the transmission, is that what you mean? Noise has a way of travelling and fooling you as to the location of the source.
