My 1993 Accord DX has 193.000 miles.
Yesterday while driving at night the headlights and only the headlights suddenly shut off. Ten minutes later they came back on. Then shut off again, then back on again. I could use my flashers and blinkers. Tailights fine.
High beams would not work when headlights were out but did work when headlights came back on.
No other electical problem.
Side note. About a week ago, when starting to use heater, i noticed some fan noise.
I am scheduled to bring car into mechanic later this afternoon. Can I fix it myself, seems like a loose connection perhaps?
What to do?
