My 2001 Honda Accord seems to run funny at times.
My gas pedal sticks, and I always get low gas mileage.
So I took it to Jiffy Lube 3 Months ago and they told me I needed my fuel injector cleaned. I took it to the dealer they said its fine. Well I'm back at the dealer and now they say I need a new pump and it will cost 315 dollars. They say it is because I use poor quality gas at Citgo and Exxon. Sounds suspicious. Please help

Rule of thumb, Jiffy Lube - They do lubrication Midas exhaust does mufflers. An auto mechanic looks at the entire car other than the body which has its own specialist.

You can ask Honda for the results that show the fuel pump is failing. They should be able to tell you what the pressure they found was. Often poor pressure for fuel will kick on a check engine light. What do the plugs look like at the tips? Are they black and wet looking or are they some other color and again are they all consistant is the coloring?
