Need advice. I have 98 accord with 181,000 miles. I commute roughly 90 miles per day to and from work. Oil pressure light came on, car empty of oil. I put in 4 quarts of oil and oil was just changed 2 months ago. 1st time this has happened. Now I noticed where car has been slowly leaking on right passenger side as I have spot in driveway. This has been like that for about 2 weeks. Never made the connection until oil pressure light came on. What could it be? Let me add that I had a lot of work done over last few months. Got new catalytic converter, some valves replaced. tune up, fuel system flush. Check engine light is also back on again

You need to check the oil more often.

Didn't specify what the engine size was but I am guessing that it is the v6. I would look at the oil filter. Another item to check would be the oil plug and the oil pan. Start with the filter.

Low oil pressure can cause the check engine light to come on. Find out why the oil is escaping and check it more often.
