I have a 93 Honda Accord SE. The seals around the spark plugs were leaking and soaked the spark plug wires. This made the engine shake and feel like turning off. I have replace the spark plug seals and spark plug wires and this seemed to help. I was told that the map sensor also need to be replaced otherwise it would begin to shake again. Is this true? Does anyone know if what I am told is correct? I thought that the map sensor only controlled the amount of air that goes into the engine.

The spark plug seals are part of a kit for a valve cover seal replacement. The ones from Honda are the best. A MAP sensor may be the proble but I doubt it. If it is bad the engine will run very rich. Let me know

If the map sensor gets bad it will usually kick a flag up in the computer and trip the check engine light. If the car seems fine after what you did, don't worry about the map sensor.
