Check the cabling to the battery and the connections to the starter as well. This appears to be draining during the running of the vehicle. It could be a starter that continues to draw on the system. What is the voltage at the battery when it is running?

If that 12 volts is at the battery when the engine is running, it is an alternator problem. That should be putting out about 14 volts. Don't forget intermittent problems can happen and it may perform well sometimes and not at all at other times.
