I have a 91 accord ex 2.2 5 spd. It has a new fuel pump ( 2 months old ) new fuel filter ( 1 month old )
new plugs, cap, rotor ( 1 Month old ) Last week the car just started cutting out while driving, would crank back easy and then eventually do it again and progressively got worse until now it will idle smooth, but will not throttle up with out trying to stall and miss, and the check engine light has not on
when I try to drive it. I also cleaned the EGR valve with brake cleaner, checked main relay ( tested good ). That is where I'm at so far.
Thanks in advance for any help, Art

How old are the wires to the plugs. The pulling and tugging on them sometimes causes them to have problems. When you did the EGR did you notice how smoothly the operation of the assembly worked and whether it closed properly?

I'm not sure how old the plug wires are but the look to be in good shape, but I will check them again.
The EGR was easily opened with my finger tip. Thanks in advance for any help, Art
