had timimng issues,trying to get to the timing belt,top cover off no problem....bottom cover...diferent story.how ,besides using the "special tool" do i get the crank bolt off?moreover...what is the thresd pattern for said bolt?these repairs are bleeding me dry,would be truly grateful for any suggestion/info./ideas. thank you very much. `honda in pieces. :?

the crank bolt is standard thread direction...you know, left loosy, righty tighty...

getting your bolt off....(lol)

i have never used the special tool designed to hold the crank, not needed imo. the best and only safe way i know to remove it is with an impact gun. 1/2 inch drive usually works but sometimes we have to use a 3/4 inch gun.
