89 accord lxi cooling

89 accord lxi, auto, 140kmi. I am losing antifreez but no signs of leaking.After I filled it up, the top rad hose is hot ,the bottom hose is luke warm,temp gage is normal,lots of heat inside but there is no preasure when I take the rad cap off.
Any suggestions?

hi jim, you may want to have a cooling system pressure test done , if this does not reveal anything have someone do a block test , this is very simple and easy ,what it does is check for exhaust gasses in the coolant meaning a failed head gasket , but try the pressure test first

its a closed system , so if there is a leak it will lose pressure from that point and just get worse with time
