Hi Buenz,

I do not understand your question and hope you can explain the problem in detail.

Thank you.

First, I am the least educated car owner ever.. I came here looking for help and education myself but I saw your question and it reminded me of something that used to happen to me all the time.

I have a 2001 Accord and have uncovered, outside parking. When it is very cold and especially if there was rain or snow, I would often find my drivers door frozen shut in the mornings when I had to leave for work - usually before the sun was up.

Is this what you are experiencing?

If so, my very low tech solution was draping a drop cloth (like a painter would use) over the drivers door and securing with something heavy (usually sitting a brick on the roof) to hold the tarp down. Protecting the door with the tarp kept the moisture away and the door wouldn't be frozen in the AM.

If I misunderstood your question, please forgive me.

Hi elizabethl,

Thank you very much for answering thsi question. There is nothing to forgive as I believe you have done your best and with sincerity. Whether you have misinterpreted the question or not, it does not matter.

I would like to thank you for teaching me something new.

Another thing, I don't think you are the least educated car owner and you should not think that way too. At least you have an answer to a solution that is bugging somw others.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
