Now that the winter season has arrived I am noticing a problem with my heater unit. The unit never seems to heat properly unless I have been driving at highway speeds for at least an hour. During city driving and short trips, the air is barely warm and I notice that the temp of the air seems to decrease and increase based on the engine speed. The thermostat seems to be working normally, the amount of air from the vents seems normal, I just cant seem to get enouh heat. Another thing that I have noticed is that the air seems to get a bit warmer when I turn on the recirculation feature - but then of course I have the issue of window fogging. I've been dealing with it just to get a little extra warmth on the drive to work. Suggestions?
