2003 Honda Accord synthetic oil

Do I need to switch to synthetic oil? My oil change place says it is recommended for my mileage and age. Are they just trying to upsell me? If I do switch, can I ever go back?

Yes you can switch back, but I do not recommend switching oils every oil change. I'd just personally stick with conventional oil. As long as you keep up with your maintenance, there is no need for synthetic in your engine.
