I had 2003 Honda Accord Ex V6 with 54K miles on it.
When i had changed my engine oil from Honda Dealer he was asking me to change the transmission and power steering oil. Should i change it ? Is there any side effects of changing transmission Oil ?
Please Reply me...

I don't and many don't ever change the power steering fluid. Is the tranny an automatic or manual? I rarely ever change the oil in a manual tranny but the automatic trans is a good idea.

Its automatic V6.
I called the dealer and he told me that two ways to change the tranny fluid.
1- Drain and Fill for $69.99
2- Fliush using machine and fill for $159.99.

Please advise me !

I recommend the flushing only if you have an older tranny or have been experiencing problems with the tranny. The drain and fill is the way. And since it is the dealer I shouldn't have to tell you how important it is that the right fluid be put back in.

Thanks for replying very quickly.
My Transmission is running smooth with no problem at all.
Its just 50K mantainces which i am little worried.
Its Honda Dealer so should i make sure which Transmission oil he will put or he might put some low quality oil which i have to keep an eye on that.

Need Advice again.
