I have a 2002 Honda Accord with 96,000 miles on it. When leaving work yesterday I started it up and put it in drive. I got about 50 yards and the car lost power, I had lights and everything but when I pressed the gas the car would barely move. I noticed then the D4 light on the dashboard was blinking and the engine light had come on. I stopped put the car in reverse and the R light lit up but the D4 remained blinking as well as the engine light remained on. I turned the car off and back on and I regained power, the car is driving normally, the D4 light is no longer blinking but the engine light remains on. Any clue what this could be?

Hi Chrissy,

The engine and transmission management system detected some errors in the system and a warning was shown with the blinking D4 and Check engine lamps.

Get a free scan done at your local Autoizone outlet and post the exact error code here. They are required to understand what is/are causing the probelm.
