I have a honda accord 02 which was given to me by my mother, who is a typical woman and just puts the key in and drives unless you fix the car for her. She just game me the car and the first day of driving it the check engine light turns on and blinks at times. I took the car to autozone to see what was wrong with the car, they said it needed a tuneup. I changed the spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor and the o2 sensor. After changing everything the shaking which was happening lessened but is still there and the light is still one. It runs fine when driving but when u come to a stop it starts to shake and yesterday i noticed the needle idling below below 1,000 RPM's and thats when the shaking happens. If i slowly give it gas the rpms jumps to 2,000 rpms and when i let it go it drops below 1,000 and beging really shaking until it kicks back up close to 1,000. And it only shakes when its below 1,000. Ive brought it back to autozone again after the tune up and computer saying it needs a tune up still and the check engine light is one. i dunno whats the problem.
