hey i was told to replace my clutch (miles wise) by a dealership mechanic but i dont think its necessary yet. is not replacing a clutch will give me any problems in the future? what do i look for to see if i really need a clutch replacement? Thanks in advance

As long as the clutch is not slipping, there is no necessity to replace it. There are no recommended mileage for clutch replacement and its lifespan depend largely on the driver and driving conditions.

When there is any indication of clutch slip, get the clutch replaced asap and you should be ok.

Is the clutch pedal very heavy?
Does engine flares ( races high ) under hard acceleration when upshifting?
