Car is a 2001 V6 accord sedan. Whenever the car accelerates from 40mph-60pmh the sterring wheel and car vibrates and stops when 60mph is reached. Also, the car vibrates when brakes are applied at higher speed (>60mph). The car has new struts and springs x 4(only a year old). Rims are after market (17inch) with new tires(6 months). Wheel balance and alignment has been done. Transmission was just replaced by dealer in 2004. I have replaced the front brake rotors as well as the back. New brake pad have just been installed. The honda dealer have told me to change everything from Ball bearings, CV joint, front axles, etc. That would come up to be more than $1000. Any suggestion would be very helpful. Thanks

Hi there ,

Vibration under braking is 99% time brake rotor run out, if they are near new have then check for run out, before machining, As for the steering vibration, have the wheel balance re checked a wheel weight may have come off, Have a look and make sure there is not weights opposing each other, incopentent wheel balance operators do this.
